Here's an idea: Don't try to open the door with the same hand you're holding your coffee in. That way, you won't get upset when your coffee spills all over the floor as I come through the door from the other side.

Morans.

One Week, One Day, And Counting

I'm waiting to see how long it will take my boss to notice that his name is misspelled on the door of his new office.

I give him three weeks, and that's being generous.

Ethical Dilemmonade

So I have access to a lot of private information. Some of this includes contact info for a couple of Hollywood big wigs.

My instinct is to send my headshot, resume, and a cover letter to said Hollywood big shots. But then that little part of my brain that tries to keep me out of trouble says, "don't do it. That's like stealing, you know."

"Is it?"

"Yes it is."

"How?"

"...It's complicated. Just don't do it."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, now go get us a cookie."

"Mmmm...cookies."

Cloak and Blogger

I just made that phrase up in an e-mail regarding secret blogging, and a google search pulled up no results.

It's mine! You hear me? All mine!

Maybe I AM Your Stepping Stone

It's a wonderful world when I can get the urge for a Monkees song and download an entire "best of..." album off iTunes in less than three minutes.

This is the first New York Times story on architecture I've ever read which uses the phrase "bling-bling" three times.

Did you see the drummer's hair?

A light sprinkle polka-dotted the street in front of Mr. House. The fresh water combined with the previously sunbaked cement forcing the emission of an aroma pharmaceutical companies try to reproduce as an additive to hygiene products so they don't smell so medicinal. Names like "Summer Rain" or "Spring Breeze" are usually associated with these types of products.

Smartly so, as no sensible person would want to lather a substance over their swimsuit area called "Wet Pavement".
